EV Charging at OA

We have a myenergi, Zappi 7kW, Type 2 charger available for customers to charge their EV’s. Depending on your vehicle, this charger is capable of adding around 30miles of range per hour. We charge 45p per kWh. To support the National Grid Demand Flexibility Service, please avoid charging between 4pm-7pm. We charge 65p per kWh during this period.

To make charging as straightforward as possible, we are using the Fuuse platform, which manages the charging session and processes the payment for the session.

In preparation for a straightforward charging session at OA you will need to:

1. Bring and use your Type 2 charging cable
2. Have downloaded the Fuuse App to your phone and added a card payment method to the app

Once you arrive at the charge point you will need to:

1. Plug your car into the charger
2. Open the Fuuse App on your phone and scan the QR code on the charger
3. Follow the instructions on the App

Once the charging session is complete you will receive a notification in the App. Please unplug and move your EV as soon as possible so that other people can use the charge point.

Fuuse will run a pre authorisation of £25 to your chosen payment card but you will only be billed for the energy used in your charging session. The card used to pay for the charging session will show a transaction called: EV CHARGING LANCASTER LND

The App will show the details of your charge session, including energy used, charging time and cost. You can also email a copy of the receipt to your chosen email address.
