EV Charging at OA

We have a myenergi Zappi, 7kW, Type 2 charger available for customers to charge their EV’s. Depending on your vehicle, this charger is capable of adding around 30miles of range per hour. You will need to bring your own Type 2 charge cable.

We charge .55p per kWh.

Please call at the Container Kitchen or speak to Mark to access the unlock code for the Zappi.

To start a charge session:

  1. Plug your cable into your car
  2. Plug your cable into the Zappi & enter the unlock code
  3. Once unlocked, press the Down Arrow ▼ until FAST ▶︎ ▶︎ shows at the bottom of the screen
  4. Press ➕ on the Zappi to charge

To end a charge session:

  1. Release the cable from your car
  2. Enter the unlock code into the Zappi
  3. Press ➕ on the Zappi to unlock the cable - gently pull the cable to release

Please make a note of how many kWh you have used and make a card payment at the container kitchen. 

To support the National Grid Demand Flexibility Service, please avoid charging between 4pm-7pm.

The accommodation is lovely: clean and comfortable inside and out, in a beautiful setting, and we were made to feel very welcome and looked after by Jacqui and Mark, who catered for us with a range of hearty meals, taking various dietary requirements in their stride. The activities with Andy and Steve were perfectly pitched for the group, and it was particularly great that they were provided from the site, with no need to travel except a nice walk down to the beach! This is certainly on my go-again list."
